About the artist
My name is Kathy and I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior
and LORD when I was 9 years old. I was raised in a Christian home where I was taught God's Word and the value of learning
more about HIM. Scripture was easily found throughout our home. I remember laying in bed at night, unable to sleep...I didn't
count sheep...I would read over and over the scripture that was hanging on the wall in the hallway. "This is the day that
the LORD has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it"..."As for me and my house we will serve the LORD"...and "I stand at the
door and knock..." My mom and dad would be in the living room...unaware that God's Word was being planted in me as I lay
there trying to sleep.
As I have continued my walk with the LORD over the years, I have grown to love God's Word. It is living and powerful and
Isaiah says that "it never returns back to HIM void". I had a thought one night while I was sleeping. I pictured the world
covered in darkness. Each place where the Word of God was present, a light appeared. Slowly, one at a time, in my vision,
I saw many lights appearing...as God's Word entered into the home. This has become my vision for Scripture Pictures. I believe
that God's Word is Truth...that each picture will NOT return void! My goal is to get them into as many homes as possible...not
because of me...or even this business...but solely to proclaim God's Word!
